The app has been staying away for so many years from Windows based systems. However, Snapchat is all set to make a grand comeback. As per the recent reports from Window Central, Snapchat has made its debut on the Microsoft Store as a Progressive Web App.

The social media platform is built on the recently launched web version of Snapchat. With a size of 1.4MB, it carries the same features as the web version.

To use Snapchat messages from your Windows Laptop, you have to download the Snapchat PWA from the Microsoft Store. You can freely download this tiny app from the Microsoft Store. Another exciting news is that Snapchat has partnered with Amazon, to give its users an augmented reality try- on experience.

With this, the online retailer will now support Snap users to try on eyewear styles from a range of well known brands.

Snapchat will run on the Windows official web browser. It will have an app icon in the Start Menu. It will also have a notification support similar to other native apps. Snapchat’s partnership with Amazon will attract various brands and merchants.
